Reminiscent of old times as may approaches and stow fairs times comes near this year strings of wagons and horses could be seen crossing the Cotswold Hills. But Something is different they re not heading north over the hills, but south and that's because they are not heading for stow, they're heading for the horse drawn camp Beltane bash. Atop the Badbury Hill camp overlooking the Uffington white horse.

| The Beltane bash was a mellow 2 day event as the horse drawn family, friends and acquaintances gathered for the first time this year and partied in celebration of the start of the summer.The atmosphere during the day was relaxed and family orientated with much horse riding and horse play. Each night though things stepped up pace with a fantastic line-up on the horse drawn camp solar powered stage (courtesy of the infamous Orrible Iain) When almost everyone on site crammed in to and around the stage marquee to dance the night away to the Minnesota Twins, Dr Gonzo, NO.1S+flipflop, The Hedgerow Crawlers, One Hundredth Monkey, Mad Dog McCrae, The Don Bradmans, and Tarantism who would have stole the show if not for the beautiful new born foal "Beltane Bluebell". |
